FunderThunder operates through the use of Crowd funding (sometimes called crowd financing or crowd sourced capital) whereby people network and pool their money and other resources together via the Internet, to support efforts initiated by other people or organizations. FunderThunder helps support many kinds of projects, some commercial, and some artistic.  The FunderThunder process works based on a micro transaction model.  In this model a large number of people provide a small monetary donation per contributor to raise funds needed to complete a particular project.

FunderThunder starts when someone launches a project.  First they create a project profile page which in an engaging and informative manner informs potential funders about the project, its creators, how they hope to complete the project with the help of FunderThunder’s community of Funders, the project funding goal and what rewards they are offering in exchange for receiving funding.

Funders then review projects on FunderThunder. They have the opportunity to ask questions directly of the people involved with the project and if all of their questions are answered satisfactorily they can then help fund a project.  Once enough Funders have contributed to reach the project funding goal, the project creator then receives the funding, minus the administrative fess given to Funder Thunder.

The Project team will keep the funders up to date on the progress of the project and provide the funders with their agreed upon rewards.
